DriveWorks at the Graphics Systems Event in Lake Geneva WI

 

On 25th/26th October, Maria and Glen from DriveWorks headed over to Lake Geneva in Wisconsin, to attend the Graphics Systems User Conference.

 

In the two days that the event took place there were various DriveWorks presentations:

1. Are your Products the Same but Different? Automate your Design Process Using DriveWorks Solo - Maria Sarkar

To learn how to reduce design time on "same but different" products.

2. DriveWorks Solo Hands-on Test Drive (2 of these took place)

To demonstrate the quick and easy steps involved in automating your designs with DriveWorks Solo

3. Configuring Your Products Online Using DriveWorks Pro - Glen Smith

To show how easy it is for Sales people, distributors and customers to configure their products online1

4. Automate! How VanAire Transformed Their Business with Automation 

This presentation was by Jesse Seger of VanAire Inc, They have been using DriveWorks to benefit their business since 2005.

DriveWorks Team Fitness Drive

We are getting fit and having fun!  Not only are we in training for our forthcoming half marathon, some members of our team are also making the effort to cycle to work too.

 

We've set up a DriveWorks BikeScheme, as part of a UK Government backed initiative which makes the cost of cycling to work a lot cheaper for the DriveWorks team. 

 

The staff record, set by new Applications Engineer Matt, is a 3 minute mile!

Funnily enough, that speed is the same both to and from our corporate offices, so he is obviously keen to get automating with DriveWorks every morning!  

We have even installed showers on site to make sure our team are refreshed after their cycle to work!

There's nothing like a picture to show what's possible.

I am really pleased with the way our DriveWorks Online Configurator GUEST site looks on my new Dell Duo. I think it really makes the point just how scalable DriveWorks is.
Imagine I am Sales Rep or Distributor onsite with customers and all I need to do is go to a browser and HEY PRESTO!.... I can design and configure new products.........Online.

 
The examples we have online right now cover Furniture, Hydraulic Cylinders, Trailers and a Canopy.

All very cool.

DriveWorks Mug Arrives in Pennsylvania

So last week Paul and Bob of Razorleaf - DriveWorks Integration Partners, were here for training at our Corporate Offices. As we waved them off back across the ocean after a pretty intense and very productive few days all round, we sent them on their way with a DriveWorks mug each and the challenge to send us back photos of their mugs WHEREVER they happen to be.

So in the same way that I am featuring the DriveWorks Banners at our Reseller Training facilities, I am curious to see how long it will take for our mugs to cover each and every state.... as well as every country of the world. Now there's a Challenge!

Continuing our tour of DriveWorks around the world - I was delighted to receive this photo 5 minutes ago from Trude at CCS in Norway. Trude spent last week at DriveWorks Corporate Offices gaining her DriveWorks  Solo and DriveWorks Pro Certification - CONGRATULATIONS!
